How to best handle Silverlight projects?

The Bindable.Linq solution contains a set of samples, one of which is a Silverlight sample project. For users without the Silverlight SDK, this causes a message to appear when the solution is loaded:

Microsoft Visual Studio
The project file 'D:\Projects\bindablelinq.codeplex\
trunk\source\Samples\Bindable.Linq.Samples.Silverlight\Bindable.Linq.Samples.Silverlight.csproj' cannot be opened.

The project type is not supported by this installation.
OK Cancel Help

The user can hit "Cancel" and the Silverlight project is ignored, so it is not a show stopper. However, is there any benefit in splitting the solutions? Or at a higher level, should the Samples be removed from the core solution? Or would this just add more complexity?
